All our MI cables can be welded or brazed on to ceramic/metal connectors. The transmission wires are moreover protected by a coating to withstand radiation, high pressure, vacuum or corrosive liquids. They are also resistant to vibrations and temperature gradients.

Vibrocoax Cables for Traffic Control
Vibrocoax cables are a special type of transmission cable made with metal and ceramics powder. Their composition makes them suitable for use in all road conditions for road traffic control and analysis. This niche product is made with a copper tube sheath that contains a polarised compressed piezoelectric powder and a copper core running through the centre.
The Vibracoax piezoelectric sensor measures the stress caused by vehicles on the road. When the wheel passes over the sensor, the resulting pressure variation is transformed into electrical charges by the ceramic material. These electrical charges are also triggered by variations in temperature.
